weak. Trading activity was slow and disap
pointing. Attractive offering prices did
little to stimulate buyer interest. Raw
materials usually exceeded breakers needs.
Floor stocks were in good balance to easily
satisfy current trade requirements.

GLANCE: Prices were unchanged. Die
market tone continued steady. Demand
was mostly moderate, and gradually
improved as features and holiday buying
began. Supplies were adequate for imme
diate needs, and generally anticipated to be
sufficient for holiday needs. Extra-large
were often in shortest supply while
mediums were generally available. Break
era remained unaggressive and had adequ
ate shell eggs from regular sources.
