Receiving the proclamation was the Bucks County 4-H Ambassador, Lori Colliton, New town. A member of the Bucks County Seeing Eye Puppy 4-H Club, she was chosen to promote 4-H in Bucks County fqr one year. The 77-year-old 4-H program addresses the needs and interests of youth who live in rural and urban areas. The majority of Bucks County 4-H members do not live on farms. Members may choose projects such as micro wave cooking, photography, woodworking, rocketry, sewing, wildlife, small engines, and bicy cle. The Expanded Food and Nutrition (EFNEP) 4-H Program teaches good nutrition habits to low-income youth. South Mountain 4-H - The South Mountain 4-H Club held its monthly meeting on Mon day, Feb. 25 at the Fontana Com munity Building. 9 Awards and certificates were given for the cyclcthon the group participated in on Jan, 31, 1991."' All members selected their pro jects for the 1991 4-H year. All members interested in helping with Ihc pelting zoo at the Child ren’s Festival on April 13 were signup. The club will be selling 4-H cookies until its next meeting on March 25. The price is $1.50 a box. The group is having a contest for the best cover for the recipe book.
