Mark owns two registered Holsteins. His family owns a 140-acre farm in New Enterprise and they milk 55 head of Holsteins. A sixth grader at Northern Bed ford Elementary, Mark is active in baseball, football, chorus, the art club and the Church of the Bre thren. He is a member of the Southern Cove 4-H Club. Taking first place in the senior division as the outstanding Hols tein girl was Angelique McDo nald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Galen McDonald of Imler. A former Bedford County Dairy Princess, and State and National Guernsey Princess, Angelique owns 22 registered Guernseys and three Holsteins. In addition to farming, she is a DHIA supervisor. Angelique is a Southern Cove 4-H leader, on the 4-H Advisory Board, and the Morrison’s Cove Dairy Show Board. She has participated in seven county fairs, two state shows and two national shows. Her past includes showing many grand champions as well as earning fitting and showmanship awards. She has participated in the Holstein Quiz Bowl and has won awards for public speaking and extemporaneous speaking.
