In 1916 Henry Krause built his first one-way plow in a
small farm shop in Western Kansas. His neighbors saw
the plow, were impressed with its value as a specialized
tool for their farming conditions, and asked Henry to
build more.
From that humble beginning in a small farm shop in
Meade County, Kansas, the Krause Plow Corporation has
grown into one of the world’s top manufacturers of tillage
equipment. In 1988, Fortune Magazine recognized Krause
as “AMERICA’S BEST” tillage equipment manufacturer
in an article devoted to the “100 Products That America
Makes Best.”
At C.B. Hoober & Son, Inc. we’re priviledged to sell
“America’s Best Built” tillage equipment here in the East.
