Doebler's big winners

I’m Ted Doebler with a mixed bag of winners in our trials. Super singles,
commercial hybrids and a three way all made impressive showings.
What a corn year.
Harvest was late last fall but
the wait was worth it. Crop
reporters tell us Pennsylvania
farmers harvested 108 bushels
statewide, up five from 1989.
New Jersey and Ohio were also
+5, and Delaware, +4. Maryland
stayed even at 110 bu. Only
Virginia took a tumble. From 110
bu. in 1989 to 95 bu.
Doebler’s has some big
numbers to trot out, too.
Like Doebler 75X's three 200-
bushel yields and a top ten
average of 194.1 bu.
And a 1990 best in our strip
tests of 222,1 bushels by Doebler’s
86XA at Stockton, NJ.

all-time corn champ keeps
popping big ones 218.5, 208.1
and 205.9 bu. in 1990. And a top
ten average of 194.9 bu.
DOEBLER 66XP, 103 days. Good
blight resistance. Great stalks.
Solid producer. Like 193.2 bu. and
24.8% m. at Belleville, PA. And
ten best average of 186.6 bu.
DOEBLER 57XP, 97 days.
Slightly off its 1988-89 pace. But
still a most respectable 179.7 bu.
at New Holland, PA. Top ten
average, 164.3. Super oomph.
DOEBLER 45XP, 90 days. Big
firepower for early season hybrid.
204.5 bu. last fall at Dubois, PA.
165.25 bu. average in Cornell’s
1989 trials. Fast dryer.
DOEBLER 35XP, 83 days. Sturdy
stalks and solid yields. 2%
downcorn and 164.5 bu. in
Clearfield County, PA. 1989 best
in Cornell trials, 169 bu.
