FROZEN EGG REPORT: FEDERAL
STATE: The market tone was fully steady
to firm reflecting higher costs of raw
materials. Trading activity was limited as
most buyers limited receipts to immediate
needs. Breaking stock was limited but not
aggressively sought as most processors
worked holiday shortened schedules. Sup
plies were for the most part in balance with
needs.

NEW YORK EGGS: FEDERAL
STATE: Prices were unchanged.
Trade sentiment was steady. Orders
were fairly good with an active fill-in
demand and a few continued retail spe
cials. Offerings were slightly more avail
able and prices were generally at steady
terms. Floor stocks were about adequate.
The New Jersey inventory was 7% above
last Monday’s level, and the New York
inventory was 18% above last week.
