Processor Reduces Round

same hay in about one hour,” Gta
naas said. “Some customers say
the reduced manhours can help
pay for the machine.”
With an 80 to 100 hp tractor, a
1,500-pound round bale can be
processed in four minutes to six
minutes whether feeding hay or
mulching with straw. The bale
processor accommodates up to a
150 hp tractor with snowblower or
other accessory.
Other ways in which the Model
BP-25 design simplifies round
bale handling and processing
include direct drive by a 21-spline,
1,000 rpm PTO for minimal main
tenance and increased reliability.
The direct drive eliminates gear
boxes, chains, and belts.
For bale loading ease, the oper
ator can tilt the 49-inch deep,
87-inch diameter tub to the
ground, back up to the bale, and
simply tilt the bale and tub back
into operating position. Its
hydraulic tilt reaches 90 degrees.

yards. Many stockmen enjoy the
bale processor’s flexibility in
