under an unsettled and cautious trade sen
timent. Buying was limited as traders usu
ally purchased immediate needs and close
ly watched for further market develop
ments. Raw materials were selectively

Movement of ready-to-cook broiler fryers
was fairly good today. Supplies were
adequate for current trade needs. Less than
trucklot asking prices were competitive at
43-57 cents. Live supplies were adequate.
Average live weights were in a desirable
range. Trade sentiment was mostly steady.
In the parts complex, supplies of wings
were tight, whole breasts were adequate to
fully adequate, dark meat was adequate,
and skinless boneless breasts were irregu
larly distributed but at least adequate and
slow to clear for some shippers.

of wings. Other items cleared to a no better
than moderate call. Boneless skinless

counting of earlier had declined; however,
