Mix and process your rations and hay... the Oswalt way Better dMlgn and mora know-how hava mada Oawalt tha laadar in mixing. Oswalt TMR/Hay Processors are clearly superior in their ability to mix all types of ration ingredients, Including dry hay. A reel-type mixer, particularly when fully loaded, retains a quantity of the dry hay in tha canter of tha real which then simply turns over with the real and receives little mixing. Your hay just gets a free ride and your final mix is uneven at best. In an Oswalt TMR/Hay Processor, the hay Is processed and evenly and aggressively mixed throughout the ration. Carter of Texas was appointed to fill the vacancy resulting from a resigna tion of a Texas member of the board. Carter’s term will expire in 1991. A key element of mixing dry hay into a ration is processing the hay while all ration Ingredients are being mixed. That means tearing the hay apart and reducing fiber length during the mixing process. In an Oswalt, the notched bottom auger working against the shear shelf, does the primary job of tearing the hay slabs apart and reducing the length of long hay stems. The aggressive square top-augers (a patented Oswalt exclusive) grab the hay slabs and finish the processing Job.
