-Lancaster Farming, Saturday, November 17, 1990 52 Belsnlckel Craft Show Held In Berks County BOYERTOWN (Berks Co.) The 20lh annual Belsnickcl Craft Show will be held Friday, Novem ber 23, noon to 8 p.m. and Satur day, November 24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Boycrlown Elementary School and Junior High School, West, both located at Second and Madison streets, Boyertown. More than 150 local and region al artisans will participate in the show. Among the items on display will be woodworking, woodcarv ing, pottery, baskets, pine cone art, wood, tin, and papier mache folk art, woven rugs, dolls and doll clothing, children’s clothing, sten ciling, embroidery, jewelry, soft sculpture, and Christmas items. Also, quills and quilted items, dried flowers, bread dough art, lolc, weaving, schcrenschnitte (pa per-cutting), clay sculpture, frak lur, lurmturc, hand-knitted cloth ing, corn husk dolls, stained glass, punch-tin art, wooden toys, and china painting. Free bus transportation will be provided from major parking areas to show locations. Refreshments will be available at the elementary and junior high schools. Donation to the Craft Show is $3, children under 12 admitted free if accom panied by an adult. Berks Society 9 The Berks County Executive Board met recently in the Ag Cen ter with Joan Loeb presiding. The eighteen members present dis cussed the plans for the Farm Women Spring Rally to be held at Sheraton Berkshire, May 23. Each group was given responsibilities in preparation of the Rally. Shirley Strieker of Group 8 was appointed chairman of the 1991 County Convention next fall. The next meeting of the County Executive Board will be Jan. 14, 1991 at the Ag Center.
