Taking reserve grand in the Jersey breed was an aged cow own ed by Lisa Rankin, of Burgetts town. Rankin animal was second in its class. Jerry Myers of Bel Air, Md., judged three breeds, the Milking Shorthorn, Guernsey and Ayrshire. Harold Rader’s Homestead Acres Johnny’s Tusha, a 3-year old, was named grand champion Ayrshire and the best animal own ed and bred. Rader is from Butler. Another 3-year-old was named reserve grand champion of the Ayrshires. Melissa Hillyard’s HK Farms Melissa’s Muffin. Hillyard is from Bradford. In the Guernsey breed, Robin Wagner’s senior 2-year-old, Caro sa Fay Victoria was named grand champion. Wagner is from Meadville.
