The non-profit farmland preser vation group has established and funded' a five-figure scholarship fund for the grandchildren of the late John Zimmerman and his wife Ruth, in exchange for a permanent conservation easement on the family farm. The Zimmermans’ grandchil dren are Rachel Anderman, Jonathan Anderman, Paul Zimmerman-Clayton, and Eliz abeth Zimmerman-Clayton. The Zimmerman farm is the first of several projects to be funded through the Laura Flanagan Memorial Fund, which was estab lished last year by Michael and Barbara Flanagan.
