The Robthom Brent-Et daught
er is fresh since November, and
scored VG-86 in February classi
fication. Still milking at 65 pounds
she has a projected lactation of
19,000 pounds. High placings by
the ten head in the Sunnybend
show string snagged both the pre
mier breeder and exhibitor ban
ners for Tom and June Boyer and
daughters Bridgette and Jenelle.
Junior champion honors went to
Brodbecks 4-H’er Shannon Doll,
taking the top heiferprize with her
tall, growthy senior calf, Dar-Dale
Russ Becky. She was also named
best junior female bred and owned
in the show.
Greg Gemmill, Delta took
home the reserve junior champion
honors with Woodbine Beautician
Mim, the winning intermediate
yearling. Placing of the two heif
ers in the junior champion and
reserve spot was a repeat of the
York 4-H roundup show the previ
ous day.
