TIMONIUM, MD Sunday. August 26, the Maryland Farm Queen, Miss Susan Porter, will have the honor of crowning her successor, the 1990 Maryland Farm Queen, at 7 p.m., in the Cow Palace. Young ladies representing 23 Maryland counties will compete for this renowned title and a scho larship worth up to $2,000. Contestants between the ages of sixteen and nineteen have earned their place in the 1990 Maryland Farm Queen Contest by winning local county contests sponsored by their Farm Bureau. Orientation begins Tuesday, August 14, to inform contestants of their responsiblities and to instruct them on the preparations for the August 25 and 26 competi tion.
