Trade sentiment steady at best with
traders dosely watching further market
developments. Retail demand irregular but
best where features were in progress. Sup
plies of Jumbo’s were clearing. Graded
Loose Large were fully adequate for needs
while Mediums were not as available.
Breakers floorstocks were sufficient to ful
ly adequate with some additional offerings
noted. Loose eggs traded at or below usual
relationship to markets. Offerings of spent
fowl to processing plants were at least suf
ficient for needs.

Prices were lower on loose extra-large
through small, unchanged on jumbo and all
cartoned eggs. Trade sentiment was
unsettled. Demand was mixed, ranging
light to moderate. Supplies were generally
adequate for needs.

Tracklot buying interest was mixed and
less aggressive than earlier. Supplies and
offerings of skinned boneless breasts were
adequate to instances fully adequate.
Whole breasts remained in light supply
overall, but buyers were less active and
spot offerings were available. Legs were
about adequate. Leg quarters were buyable
but in tighter supply on Delmarva than in
southern shipping channels. Drums and
thighs were adequate. Wings were fully
adequate and in less demand than other
items.

fryers was generally fair today and about as
expected for mid-week buying interest.
Supphes were adequate on 3 pound and
lighter sizes, close on the heavier sizes.
Less than trucklot askmg prices were high
er at 56-66 cents. Live supplies were
adequate with average live weights on the
light side of desirable. Today’s processing
schedules were moderately heavy. The
trade senument was fully steady. In the
parts complex, supplies of wings were at
least adequate, all other items were
adequate.
