sluggish and usually no better than fair.
Promotional activity was limited but hoped
to stimulate seme additional buyer interest

Movement of ready-to-cook whole
fryen was generally fair and about as
expected. Supplies were in good balance
with current needs. Less than trucklot ask
ing prices were steady at 51-60 cents. Live
supplies were adequate with average live
weights in a full range. Today’s processing
schedules were heavy. The trade sentiment
was steady. In the parts complex, supplies
of breast items were in close balance to
short of immediate needs, dark meat items
and wings were adequate and clearing to
regular commitments. Some buyer inquir
ies for leg quarters have gone unfilled.
