Trucklot buying interest was mixed and
irregular. Seller offerings were geherally
adequate for prompt deliveiy; however,
buyers found supplies tight and more diffi
cult to book for later as several processors
looked to curtail operations for the upcom
ing religious holiday. Inquity for skinned
boneless breasts was light to fair and sup
plies were fully adequate; spot trading was
noted into next week at $1.90. Whole
breasts were adequate to fully adequate
and in heaviest balance on yellow; several
buyers noted reduced further processing
schedules Friday as providing little incen
tive to purchase extra product. Leg quarters
tightened to a good demand for retail ad
activity which reduced the availability on
legs Wings continued to clear well and
ranged adequate to short.

Frozen Eggs
Prices were lower under a barely steady
to weak trade sentiment Demand was very
light and centered on less-than-trucklot
volumes for immediate holiday bakery
needs, particularly sugared yolk. Most pro
cessors planned reduced schedules with
some plants closed for several days for
holiday observances. Shell egg costs con
tinue to drop, but most breakers limited
purchases to immediate needs only.
