is another job that is put off from
time to time. My blooming bego
nias drop old petals and some
plants drop their leaves on the
windowsills.
One of our guests will have a
birthday while he is here so 1
intended to bake a cake. However,
I was warned not to make a choco
late cake nor one with milk in it as
they are allergic td these items.
Fifty years ago I do not remember
hearing much about allergies.
Maybe people had the same prob
lems but did not put a name to
them At least, now they can do
something about it by taking pills
or getting shots My mother often
complained about indigestion

Wc seldom get to see our
almost ten-year-old grandson
from the city of Seattle. He is
quite active in many sports, espe
cially baseball and basketball. His
father coaches Little League and
encourages him He’s probably
grown a few inches since we last
saw him. When he is here, most of
his time is spent at the bam and in
the milk parlor. This always
