Beth, a senior at Bedford High
School, is the daughter of Sherrill
S. Clark and the granddaughter of
Guernsey breeders Bob and Dor
othy Smith. She helps with the
work on her grandparents’ farm
and shows Guernseys.
Accepted at Carlow College,
Pittsburgh, Beth plans to major in
biology pre-med or secondary
education.
Crowning Beth at the banquet,
which was held in conjunction
with the Guernsey Breeder’s Con
vention at the Holiday Inn in
Chambersburg, was Angelique
MacDonald of Itnler, outgoing
Pennsylvania Guernsey Queen.
Millie Widmann of Oxford con
ducted the contest. Judges for the
event were Eileen Moore, Sandy
Stem, and Peter Winner.
Beth will compete for the title
of National Guernsey Queen at the
National Guernsey Convention
held in Evansville, Indiana in
June.
