DHIA Services To Contin
COLUMBUS. Ohio After
reviewing the on-going projects
and new opportunitites available
for DHIA Services Inc., the
106-member delegate body gave
their vote of confidence to con
tinue with the operation and pro
grams of the National DHIA’s
subsidiary.
This decision came during the
March 12-13 annual conference of
National DHIA in Greensboro,
N.C.
DHIA Serevices Inc. is a subsi
diary of National DHIA and is
headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
The purpose of the subsidiary is to
promote the development of new
agricultural technologies for more
efficient production and profit,
along with providing service and
support to the DHIA System.
“I feel that our delegates, presi
dents, and managers believe in the
purpose of DHIA Services,” said DHIA Services is also involved

“The Pro Staph test, which tests
cows for Staph, aureus mastitis, is
revitalizing itself now after its
introduction last May,” said
Ellingston. “We’re doing this
program for the good of the dairy
producers.”
In Greensboro, delegates were
also briefed on future tests that
will be made available with ELI
SA technology the basis of the
Pro Staph test.
“With this kind of technology
in our DHIA labs, we are setting
outselfs up to offer a complete bat
tery of tests to DHIA members,”
said Phil Dukas, director of opera
tions for DHIA Services. “Some
of these future possibilities could
include diagnostic tests for Strep,
mastitis, Jone’s, and milk
residues.”
