Mino, president of Kubota Coiporation, announced two significant changes in the top management of its U.S. subsidiary, Kubota Trac tor Corporation. S. Egusa is being promoted to chairman of Kubota Tractor Cor poration, and Tomomi Soh will replace him as president of the company. 858 804 “With these two experienced people heading Kubota Tractor Corporation, we look forward to an even brighter future for the company,” said Mino. Egusa has served as California based Kubota Tractor Corpor tion’s president for the past nine years. He began his career with Kubota Corporation in 1949, and was based in Osaka before being assigned to the Compton, Calif.-based company. Egusa pioneered Kubota Cor poration’s engine and farm machinery export business and was instrumental in establishing many of its overseas companies. Egusa has led Kubota Tractor Corporation’s expansion into diversified product areas. Soh also has had a long and dis tinguished career at Kubota Cor poration, having started in its Tokyo branch in 1961. He began in the farm machinery sales department, and served at Kubota Tractor Corporation’s Compton office from 1973 to 1979. Soh was then transferred to the America and Europe group’s export depart ment.
