Robert Mowrer, Conservation
District association director,
received the outstanding service
award for his work with the Lan
caster Youth Conservation School.
Known as the founding father for
the school that was first held in
1979, Mowrer has helped improve
and acquire funds for it.
Two students who attended the
school, Gretchen Frederick and
Michael Lindemuth, received the
youth conservation school public
service award.

took special people, needs, funds,
programs and cooperation for

erosion and unnecessary water
nullification caused by cattle hav
ing free access to both sides of the
streambank. Working with Hugh
Hetzer, former manager of Chester
Water Authority; Kerry Kalupson,
vo-ag teacher; FFA students; Col
erain Township supervisors; DER
and the county conservation dis
trict, Greenleaf was able to stream
back the erosion and nullification.

Stockholders To Meet
SHOEMAKERSVILLE (Berks
Co.) —For the convenience of the
stockholders, Keystone Farm Cre
dit, ACA will be holding three
sectional meetings in its 15-coun
ty territory.
The following is a schedule of
those meetings:
• Tuesday, April 3, at the Inn At
Reading.
• Wednesday, April 4, at the His
toric Strasburg Inn.
• Thursday, April 5, at Days Inn,
Routes 22 & 309, Allentown.
Stockholders are encouraged to
attend the sectional meeting most
convenient for them
They will be voting for twenty
four director positions and fifteen
1991 Nominating Committee
members.
Results of the elections will be
available after noon, April 6, by
calling a branch office, a press
release will also be issued.
All meetings begin with
registration at 6 p.m. and dinner
promptly at 7 p.m. In addition to
the business session, entertain
ment and/or speakers are planned
for each of the sectional meetings.
