proved to have high yield potential in its first year on the
market. NC+3L47 has uniform plants with a unique inter
mediate pubescence color. It shows excellent emergence and
standability, and has above average Phytophthora tolerance.
NC+ 2M58 Mk) Group II NC+2MSB is a new Group II
variety with exceUent yield potential. About two days earlier
than Century 84, NC+ 2MSB has strong emergence and
develops plants with a relatively narrow canopy and good
standability. Performs well in narrow tows. Very good
tolerance to Phytophthora root rot.
NC+ 2K86 Late Group II This Late Group n soybean
has high yield potential. Its medium-height plants resist
shattering and provide good fall standability. NC+ 2K86 is
field tolerant to Phytophthora toot rot Appearance in the
field is similar to NC+ 2D9O+, Adapts well to narrow row
plantings.
NC+ ILBI Mid-Late Group I This high-yielding soybean
is especially adapted to early-maturily zones. Its standabiUty
and tawny pubescence provide excellent eye appeal. NC+
ILBI has very good tolerance to Phytophthora and iron
chlorosis, and exceUent tolerance to metribuzin herbicides.
NC+ 2K40 Mid Group n Adaptable to narrow tows,
NC+ 2K40 is a Mid Group II soybean with high yield
potential. Best when planted shaUow because of its short
hypocotyl, it will stand up weU for harvest. Plant health is
good, with above average scores for tolerance to Phytophthora
root rot, iron chlorous and metribuzin herbicides.
