Trucklot buying interest was good for
tight supplies of leg quarters; light and
unaggressive on other items. Boneless
skinless breasts were fully adequate with
spot trading in volume as low as $1.70.
Whole breasts were in heavy supply with
some offerings and bid prices noted in the
mid to high 70’s. Legs were adequate. Leg
quarters were in closest balance and no
more than adequate. Wings were adequate
with the bulk of Trading at unchanged
prices.

Movement of ready to cook whole fryers
was generally fair but buyers limited their
interest to regular commitments only. Sup
plies were at least adequate. Less than
tnicklot asking prices were unchanged at
46-54 cents. Live supplies were adequate.
Average weights improved somewhat and
were mostly desirable. Today’s processing
schedules were heavy. The trade sentiment
was steady. In the parts complex, supplies
of cutlets, legs, and wings were adequate,
whole breasts were fully adequate to
ample, and leg quarters were short of an
active call.
