Board of Directors of the Ameri
can Oat Association has endorsed
a definition of oat bran as pro
posed by the Bran Committee of
the American Association of
Cereal Chemists. The action came
at the annual meeting of the
American Oat Association held on
Friday, November 17, at the Mar
riott Minnetonka.

are appearing on supermarket
shelves. The American Oat Asso
ciation endorsed the definition of
oat bran to provide industry guide
lines regarding oat bran products.
