From Sheep To Shawl,
Wool Wizards Finish in 93 Minutes
The Wool Wizards did it again. The Middletown team that
was named the 1989 grand champion team at the Pennsyl
vania Farm Show recently placed first In the sheep to shawl
contest held at Park City, Lancaster. The winning team is
composed of (from left) Mary Hubler, Tom Knlsley, Carol
Peyser, and Kathy Graham. Chris Herr (not pictured) was
named the best shearer.
The winning shawl, made from rainbow dyed warp and
the weft from a registered Border Leister silver sheep was
completed In 93 minutes, sold to Donna Bates of Holtwood
for $125.
