Fall Classic last week. Lizzie was bred to To-Mar Blackstar-
ET. She has an Excellent Mammary and a second-year pro
duction record of 23,699 pounds of milk and 3.5 percent fat.
She was consigned by Fidelity Holstelns of Martlnsburg
and purchased by Mike Weimer of Emlenton and Jay Howes
of Elizabethtown.

Selling for a final bid of $2,850
was Keystone County Pansy, a
July, 1987, cow sired by Modik
Valiant Count-ET, a S-W-D Val
iant son. Pansy’s dam is Keystone
Sexation Pam, a Very Goo! 87
whose sixth-year production
record was 20,100 pounds of milk,
5.2 percent fat and 1,047 pounds
of protein over 311 days. Pansy
was consigned by Keystone Farm
of Easton and purchased by Don
and Joanne Stoltzfus of
Fleetwood.
Timothy Peachy of Petersburg
was the buyer of Hillmont Melvin
Holly, a consignment of Hillmont
Farm in Berlin. This 1986 cow is a
Very Good 85 and due November
22 to Thonyma Secret. Her
second-year production record is
21,488 pounds of milk and 3.5 per
cent fat and her maternal sister has
a third-year record of ,24,598
pounds of milk and 3.5 percent fat.
A Mel-Est Valiant Irose Melvin
daughter, she is out of Willsholm
Bova Helga, a Good 77 whose
sixth-year production record was
23,010 pounds of milk and 3.4 per
cent fat. Holly sold for $2,375.

Enterprises of Randelman, N.C.,
for $2,200. Bom in August 1985,
this cow has a first-year production
record of 25,140 pounds of milk,
3.5 percent fat, and 3.3 percent
protein. She is a Good 77 and is a
maternal sister to Len-Lyn Tony
Krystal, a Very Good 88 with a
second-year record of 17,800
pounds of milk and 4.2 percent fat.
Klassy is a Len-Lyn Valiant Kelda
daughter sired by Sweet-Haven
Tradition, a Very Good 87. Klassy
was bred in February to Sprinvia
Liberty Bell.
Misty Crest Ned Boy Maria, a
Dunwood Farms of Oxford, sold
for $2,000. This October, 1987,
cow freshened on October 12. She
is a Whittier Farms Ned Boy
daughter out of Misty-Crest Val
iant Mat-Ti-Twin, a Very Good 87
with a fifth-year record of 26,030
pounds of milk and 3.9 percent fat.
The dam’s maternal sister is a Very
Good and producing more than
30,000 pounds of milk.
An Elevation daughter, con
signed by Promise Haven Farm of
Ulster, also brought $2,000. Gcor
dave Elevation Eva, a six-year-old
fresh November 2, is a Very Good
87 with a third-year record of
21,390 pounds and 4.0 percent fat.
Her dam, Geordave Ultimate
Mary, is a Very Good 87 with a
seventh-year record of 21,570
pounds of milk, 3.9 percent, and
833 pounds of protein.
A total of 55 animals were sold
with a total volume of $97,344,
including a sale of 171 units of
semen. The average per head was
$1,637.73 with 33 cows selling at
average of $1,821.
The proceeds from this sale
were donated to the development
of the third phase of Ag Arena
Complex. The Dairy Science Club
members, individuals, and
businesses donated lime and
revenues to the sale. The sale was
co-managed by the Penn Slate
Dairy Science Club and the Pen
nsylvania' Holstein Association.
The chairman was Dave Mattocks
and the assistant chairman was Bill
Curley.
