HUNT VALLEY, MD. The National Junior Horticulture Association held a convention at Hunt Valley Maryland on October 27-31. At this convention, a local 4-H’er Connie Faith Carney was elected to serve as secretary for the national Junior Horticulture Association for the term of 1989-1990. The competition was held during the North American International Livestock Exposition. In the 4-H hippology contest, the high team overall came from New York.
