DiO-Uncasttr Fuming Saturday, 'November 18; 1969 FFA Members, Chapters Receive Awards, Degrees During National Convention KANSAS CITY, MO The 62nd National FFA Convention gave FFA’ers, advisors, alumni, and guests the opportunity to cele brate the proud heritage, progres sive present, and promising future of the nation’s largest industry; agriculture. More than 23,000 people attended the event of which 18,000 were FFA members. In FFA tradi tion, they participated in contests received awards, attended leader ship workshops, and honored the sponsors who make possible the FFA’s extensive programs. Kellogg Foundation of Battle Creek, Mich., to implement a proj ect to strengthen an individual’s skills for community leadership. The Family Community Lead ership (FCL) project will be con ducted by Delaware Cooperative Extension in cooperation with the Delaware Extension Homemak er’s Association. The grant to the university is one of as many as 40 to be made to institutions across the nation for such projects.
