For a number of years ventilation systems
for hogs have used fans spaced equally along icrji waits
side walls the full length of the building. This nw «irn mrur*
system performed reasonably well but it was builuiinCj
also an expensive system to build and operate.
More recent developments recognized better
ventilation can be achieved by placing the
exhaust fans at one end of the building and <
inlets at the opposite end. This arrangement
produces a very desirable wind tunnel effect.
It is also a very practical and efficient way
to build and operate.
