Donna MacCauley was crowned PA Suffolk Queen during
the KILE sheep show. Thai 9-year-old student at Penn State
will compete for the national title at the North America
Livestock Exposition, Kentucky,ln Novemeber.
Two-year-old Jenna Nicole Maxwell, daughter of James
and Susan of New Cumberland, examines a pig's ear during
KILE festivities.
Stephanie Bowman, . _he /other 13, demonstrated fitting to the
crowd that gathered at KILE. The brother and sister team from Lehartsville in Berks
County win at county competition but had a tougher time at KILE where exhibitors
come from many states.
According to Stephanie the secret to having good sheep Is spending lots of time
with them. She loves going to shows, but does not like “manuring out sheep pens.”
