purebred heifers will be offered by
14 consignors.”^
Miller noted that two steers,
which sold at the first Dutch Coun
try Calf Sale, went on to be tagged
grand champion at county fairs this
summer. A calf sold by Leon
Arnold of Lebanon and purchased
by Brian Kreider of Lebanon was
selected as grand champion of the
Lebanon Area Fair. Schuylkill
County 4-H’er Mike Otto took his
calf, bred by Elmer Stehman of
Robesonia, on to win grand
champion honors at his county
fair. Both young men will receive a
$5O gift certificate toward the
purchase of another calf at this
year’s sale.
