National Egg Market
Sept. 26, 1989
Trade sentiment was steady. Retail
orders slowed from the prior week in most
areas with reduced feature activity in the
South and in the West Packing for export
shipment helped keep supplies in balance
with mostly moderate retail buying inter
est. Loose eggs traded close to usual rela
tionship to cartoned product. Breaking
stock prices were generally unchanged.
New York & Phila.
Frozen Eggs
Sept. 25, 1989
Trading activity was light with pricing
unsettled. Offering prices varied as did
costs for raw materials forcing sellers to
continually re-evaluate their position.
Floor stocks were generally sufficient to
handle current buyer needs.
