were generally steady while whole breast
were reported offered at attractive price
levels but not currently getting desired
results. Legs and leg quarters were readily
avatlable and lower offering prices stimu
lated some additional buying rnterest.
Wings were firm and limited in their avail
abrltty.

Movement of ready to cook whole fryers
ranged fatr to fatriy good. Supplies of hea
vier sizes were fully adequate and offered
at attractive prices but buyers showed httle
interest in additional product. In the parts
complex, supplies of cutlets were barely
adequate, whole breasts were being offered
to cautious buyers, legs and leg quarters
were irregular and ranged adequate to
ample, and wtngs were short of trade
needs. Less than trucklot asking prices
trended lower at 61-73 cents. Live suppltes
were adequate. Average weights were
heavy and causing marketing problems.
Today’s slaughter schedules were heavy.
The trade sentiment was weak.
