Swine Field Day Offers Production Tips
COLLEGE PARK. Md. The
University of Maryland invites
you to its annual 1989 Swine Field
Day on Saturday, September 9, at
the Central Maryland Research
and Education Center’s Swine
Facility in Howard County.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

Contracting who produce broilers
for College Hill Poultry attended
their annual picnic meeting on
August 3.
The highlight of this years
annual event was a tour for grow
ers of the College Hill Poultry
plant Growers were able to see
birds being processed.
Following the tour a picnic was
held at the Fredericksburg Lion’s"
Club park. Paul Steinmetz, vice
president of College Hill, thanked
growers for touring the plant and
being able to see how their pro
duct is processed.
