On the maternal side of the pedi
gree, the dam is Miss Chief Mark
Dot-Et, a Very Good 85 pt., whose
sire is Walkway Chief Mark, a
Very Good 87 pt. Gold Medal
Sire.
Going for $5,100 was Lyn
Haven Melvin Melinda, a con
signment of Alex Claypoole of
Worthington. Her sire is the well
known Mel-Est Valiant Irose Mel
vin, an Excellent 93 pt. Gold Med
al Proven Sire. Her dam is Lyn-

Jar-Am-Hills Calypso Dee Dee,
a consignment of Gregory and
Kathy Toy of Kittaning went for
$5,000 to Fred Strouse of Centre
Hall. Bom in December of 1988,
this heifer placed first in the inter
mediate calf class in the Pa. State
Holstein Spring Show in 1989.

Calypso-ET, an Excellent, 93 pt.
Gold Medal Proven Sire, her dam
is Mahoning-Acres Sarah Beth, A
Good Plus 82 pt., whose sire is
Marshfield Elevation Tony, also a

Also selling for $5,000 was
Imperial C Supreme Creation-ET,
a consignment of Imperial C
Breeders of Saegertown. Pur
chased by Junge Farms, Inc,, of
New Tripoli, this February, 1989,
heifer calf is sired by the famous
Glenafton Enhancer. Her dam is
Rynd-Home Valiant Cutie, an
Excellent, 91 pt. whose lifetime
production is 110.640 M, 3.7 F.
The dam’s sire is S-W-D Valiant,
an Excellent, 95 pt. Gold Medal
Proven Sire.
A final bid of $4,650 sealed the
purchase of Queens-Manor
Enhance Repose-ET, a Septem
ber, 1988, heifer calf. Consigned
by Justin E. Doeberiener of
Jamestown and purchased by
Jacque Houde of Quebec, she also
is sired by Glenafton Enhancer.
Her dam is Houdale Temp
Rachael, an Excellent 93 pt. who
was an All-American Two-Year-
Old in 1984 and an All-Canadian
Two-Year-Old in the same year.
