Awards were given out for the top herd for milk in each county. Harmony Farm was the leader from Caroline for milk, fat and protein. Their herd record stands at 21,676 m 3.93% 851 f 713 p. They also had the lowest somatic cell count on which 89 percent of their 131 cows had an average cell count of 106,000. Ten herds make up this county. In Dorchester County W. Blan Harcum had the top record on 169 cows with 15,993 m 3.96% 633 f 532 p. Glad-Mar Farm, Inc. stood at the top of Marva with 20S cows and a record of 16,465 m 3.76% 619 f 54 Ip. Harmony Farm was the leader for having the most cows with lifetime records over 150,000 with six. Daniel Hollingsworth 111 and W. Blan Harcum each had two cows and Richard Edwards and David Wells each had one cow in Livestock Show Planned STATE COLLEGE (Centre) The Penn State Chapter of the Block and Bridle Club will be holding the 72nd Little Interna tional on April 15 at the Ag Arena, State College. The show will start at 8:00 a.m. and run approximately to 2:00 p.m. The Little International is a livestock show open to all univer sity students. Students may show either a heifer, hog, sheep, or Ooor their herd with such lifetime records. Bountiful Farm showed the greatest increase in milk and fat production over the previous year. It was an increase of 3,265 pounds of milk and 113 pounds of fat. They also had the highest increase in protein over last year with 120 pounds. The students are judged on two things at the show. The animal is judged on how well it is groomed, while the student is judged on how well he shows the animal.
