Looking for that individual treatment
of your cows in your stanchion bam?
You’re looking at it. Westfalla calls it
Visotron. It lets you deal with in
dividual milking characteristics of
each and every cow in the bam. You
can monitor milk flow visually, con
trol pulsation and regulate vacuum -
on a per cow basis.
This very simply results in maximum production and
• more profit because it helps you get all the milk. Another
good example of Westfalla’s High-Tech leadership.

Meeting
Reform
Referendum
HUMMELSTOWN (Dauphin)
Senator John Shumaker from
Dauphin County, Senator David
Brightbill from Lebanon County,
and A 1 Myers, the head of govern
ment relations for the Pennsylvani
a Farmers Assoication mil explain
and outline the pros and cons of the
Tax Reform Referendum at a
meeting to be held on Monday,
April 10, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in
the Lower Dauphin High School
auditorium. The Lower Dauphin
Young Farmer chapter is sponsor
ing the meeting, which is open to
the general public.
The referendum, which will be
voted upon during the May 16
primary, will change the way local
taxes are levied. It will allow local
governments more flexibility in
the various ways they raise
revenue. Among the taxes affected
may be the property tax, per capita
tax, and the occupation tax.
Myers from the Pennsylvania
Farmers Association, which sup
ports the referendum, will outline
what the tax reform package is all
about. Senator Shumaker then will
speak for the referendum and
Senator Brightbill will speak
against it. Questions from the
public will be welcome.
