ment was barely steady. Live supplies were
adequate for the fair but cautious buyer
demand. Processors operated less than full
schedules primarily because of adverse
weather conditions. Demand for carmer
pack product was no better than fair at

food service and institutional levels was
mostly moderate. Floor stocks were barely
adequate to adequate. When sought, addi
tional supplies were difficult to locate. The
undertone continued fully steady to film.

large, unchanged to higher on all cartoned
sizes, unchanged on the balance. Trade
sentiment was film. Demand was moderate
at the retail and food service levels. Whole
sale inquiry for white eggs continued for
the limited offerings. Brown egg supplies
were generally adequate.

Raw material costs increased and were a
driving force behind the escalating prices.
Demand was light to moderate as most
buyers attempted to work from existing
floor stocks. Supplies of all products
diminished and were barely adequate to
adequate; few processors were willing to
build frozen inventories at current price
levels.
