dericksburg, Pennsylvania In Swatara
Township. From Fredericksburg take
the Lickdale-Fredrlcksburg Road to
Stoner Road, turn left on Stoner Road,
then left at first lane to farm. From Rt.
72 North take the Llckdale-
Frederlcksburg Road to Stoner Road,
turn right on Stoner Road then left at
first lane to farm. Watch for signs.
LOCATION FOR AUCTION SITE:
From Rt. 72 North take 22 East drive eight
tenths of a mile, turn north on Lancaster Street
to Mowery Road, turn right and drive approxi
mately 1 mile to Auction on left Watch for
signs.
Farm consists of 165 acres more or less with
approximately 100 acres tillable land, over 40
acres of wood land with mature trees (oak,
poplar, etc.) and the remainder of the land sur
rounds the log house. There also are 3 springs
and 1 stream on the land. The bam no longer
stands, but the rock foundation is still there.
The log house has a living room with
panelled walls and wall to wall carpet The
kitchen has printed wall board, plenty of cup
board space and linoleum flooring. There is a
full bath with shower and one other room
which could be used for an office or den. The
upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a sewing room or
play room. The house is heated by an oil hot
air furnace (2 yrs. old) and has an electric hot
water heater (1 yr. old). There is a never fail
ing spring in the basement of the house which
supplies it with all the water you will need.
Attached to the house is a breezeway and large
2 car garage. The home has exposed logs in the
front with aluminum siding cm the rest of the
house with storm windows and a galvanized
roof, recently painted. If you are looking for a
farm to start a beef farm or just for an invest
ment don’t miss this auction.
