Sale Reports HALL SALE Hall-Lee Holsteins Complete Dispersal was held December 6 by Gerald R. Hall, Route 2, Millbrook, New York at Fultonway Farm, Willow Street, Pa. The average price of the 51 cows sold was $1139. The top price was paid for a Bell daughter $5500. The 2nd and 3rd high prices for the registered Hols teins were $2700 and $2400. Backus Associates, Inc. managed the sale. ROYER ESTATE A Public Sale of a 27.9 acre farm located off School Lane near Brownslown, Lancaster Co., Pa. was sold for $5X6,000 to J. Scott Marlin, Pine Hill Road, Lititz, Pa. This farm in West Earl Township brought more than $21,000 per acre. The property con tains a house, bam and chicken house and was sold for the Florence Royer estate. The land on the farm is zoned R-l, suitable for resi dential development. The average 1987 price for farmland in eastern part of Lancaster Coun ty was $5328 per acre.
