Now, milk more consistently
It's simple economics when you save time, you
save money. And when you milk consistently, you
save your cows.
That’s just what the new Surge ALERT™ is
designed to do.
The Surge ALERT is a lighweight end-of-milking
signal that uses a unique infrared light beam to
look through the milk hose to sense end of milk
flow. So there's absolutely nothing in the line itself
to create a restriction, fluctuation, or loss of
vacuum. And there's no premature removal or
shutdown.
And It's precise. Both a flashing light and beeper
Indicate the end of milking. So operators know
exactly when to remove the milker.

Another highlight of this meet
ing was a presentation by Mr.
Thomas Dunn, a consultant with
the Pennsylvania Holstein. Asso
ciation. He currently is traveling
Pennsylvania to solicit support for
the “Grassroots Program.” This
program supports the position that
all dairymen should have the right
to price their product (milk) and
will take responsibility to control
the supply so that dairy farming
can continue to be progressive and
profitable in future years to come.
The meeting was adjourned
after the drawing for the Regis
tered Holstein calf. The calf was
won by Sarah Kennedy, Star
Route, Honesdale, a 4-H dairy
project member. Other door prizes
that were awarded included:
semen and/or technician service

Surge “Alert”
msl
That saves time. And to help eliminate the
chance of harmful overmilking.
Plus, the Surge ALERT operates off a standard
24 volt pulsator and needs no extra hoses. And
the built-in handle makes it easy to move from
cow to cow.
Making your cows worth more.
The Surge ALERT is one more way we're keeping
that commitment ... to help you come out
ahead.
