Ask the Old Farmer: We repaired the leaky fau
cet in the older home we purchased, but the
stains from the leak remain in the bathtub. None.
of the cleaners we have tried will remove the’
stain. Any suggestions? T. 8., South Paris, Maine .
Get some Kool-Atd, the powdered lemonade kind'
Dampen a sponge; apply some to the stain and scrub
it off. You can also use fresh peroxide and cream of
tartar. Make a paste of them and cover the stain
Drop two or three drops of ammonia onto the paste,
leave it for an hour or so, then wash off.

ACRES CATTLE UPDATE:
Live and feeder cattle weakened
today on selling in response to
sharply lower pork complex

prices off session lows. Weaken

further pressure along with slug
