8 heifers bred to freshen from sale date to February, balance in different
stages of lactation. This is a mostly young herd with 24 being Ist calf & 13
second calf & out of such sires as; Ogston, Brave Soldier, Generator,
Legend, Empire State, Royal & young Waverly Farm bulls.
Herd is in official DHIA test with herd average of 10,027 milk 4.84% fat
& 3.86 protein bred to such sires as: Goldmaker, Gemini 29 J 2770 Celebri
ty, Empire State, Legend, Brave Soldier, & Royal.
This herd constitutes 60 years of breeding Jersey cattle. Bangs & T.B.
tested for interstate shipment & vac. for shipping fever.

100 Grade Holstein Cattle 100
This herd currendy has a DHI rolling herd average of 16,859 milk 592 fat
3.5% test. The Dairy consists of (85) milk cows and (15) Bred heifers and
are in the following lactations: (35) fresh cows; (25) due Oct. thru Dec.
1 with the balance in various stages of lactations. Sires represented in the
herd are as follows: Cavalier, Graydawn; Forcaster; Troy; Elstan; Carama;
Ruthless-Red; Stargazer, Elate; Bachelor; Warsaw and others. A few of the
Service Sires are as follows; Thomwood; Graydawn; National; Pepper;
Abner; Trancer-Red; Starwar and others. Several cows in this herd have
milked over 21,000 and up to 25,000 lbs. milk with a few first calf heifers
projected to 20,000 of milk. All cattle have been Blood & TB tested plus
Shipping Fever shots. Interstate charts will be written day of sale for out of
state buyers.
