Maple Dell Farm of Woodbine,
Maryland took first place in eight
classes of the National Ayrshire
Show held Wednesday in Harris
burg at the Pennsylvania All-
American Dairy Show.
The dairyness, sharpness and
smooth lines of the head and neck
of Maple Dell Farm’s 2-year-old
won the grand championship of the
show. Beaver Creek’s Chad’s Julie
was sired by Maple Dell Chads IR
S and the dam is Beaver Creek V
Scandals Hazel. Breeder is Wil
liam and Joy E. Zepp.
Reserve grand champion of the
National Ayshire Show went to
Maulfair Acres Oracle Dena, an
aged cow from Maulfair Acres in
Jonestown and owned by Dale
Maulfair. Hammonds Oracle is the
sire on Dena and the dam is Cove
Creek Boys Deb. Breeder on the
reserve grand champion is Dale
Maulfair.
Junior champion female went to
St Cesaire Princesse 27 from the
Sunny Acres Farm from George
town in New York. Meredith
Liberator was the sire and the dam
was SL Cesaire princess 27. Ralph
Shank, Jr. was die breeder on this
junior champion. In the reserve
junior champion position was
Maple Dell Swinger’s Sally shown
by Maple Dell Farm. David Pat
rick, owner of Maple Dell Farm
was the breeder on this champion.
