    Top Acres Tops Brown Swiss Contest At All American

ling Lolly was tapped by judge
Steve Hendress to be the 25th Pen
nsylvania All American senior and
grand champion Brown Swiss
female.
Owned by Wayne Sliker and
Associates of Top Acres in St. Par
is, Ohio, Lolly was the winning
junior yearling at last year’s show.
In addition, she was the grand
champion at the 1988 Ohio Slate
Fair. Top Acres acquired Lolly at
the Review Royale in April, where
she was the highest-selling Brown
Swiss bred heifer.
Lolly is a Top Acres Sterling ET
daughter out of Top Acres Success
Lusty.
Another Top Acres cow. Top
Acres Stretchy Jade ET, was the
show’s reserve senior and grand
champion. The six-year-old cow
was sired by Welcome In Stretch
out of Blumfield Acres Jewel. In
her latest lactation she recorded
17,740 pounds of milk and 5.0
butterfat.

HARRISBURG —A three-year
old owned by a partnership of three
farms, Innisfail Lobelia 72D-EXP
was named the grand champion
female of the Milking Shorthorn
competition at the Pennsylvania
All American Show.
Lobelia 72D-EXP is owned by
Pinehurst Farm in Daleville, 111.;
owner of the reserve grand champion Milking Shorthorn.
Helping him with his trophy Is alternate state dairy princess,
Laurie Sterner.
Heritage Jade Ashly also was sired
by Bridge View Elegand Jade ET
and she is out of Glenn Heritage
Titan Angel.
