the best animal owned and bred.

The larger show and tougher
competition of the Pennsylvania
Junior Dairy Show did not threaten
the crown on Beauty’s head. Tho
mas McCauley of Elizabethtown
made that victory stroll as his aged
cow, Metcalfs Valiant Beauty ET,
has made so many times. Breeder
was Bryce of Metcalf out of Brad
ford, Vt.
Globe-Run Valiant Tanya, own
ed and exhibited by Anissa Ken
singer of Petersburg took the
reserve grand titlei This 3-year-old
was sired by S-W-D Valiant.
Breeder was John Foster, Jr. of
Petersburg.
Holstein FFA Champions
Santee-Acres Starwars Sexy
exhibited by Irene Benner was
named junior champion Holstein
of the FFA show. Benner is the
owner and breeder on this senior
yearling, sired by Hardys Star
wars. Benner is from Millerstown.
Reserve junior champion of the
FFA Holstein show was Keith
Kennedy of Martinsburg, with
intermediate yearling, Hi-De-Ho
Melvin Molly-Twin. Molly was
sired by Mel Est Valiant Irose Mel
vin. Breeder on this young champ
ion was Kenneth Hoover of
Martinsburg.
Another David Lentz animal
was named best animal bred and
owned of the Holstein FFA show.
It was San-Bo Mars Katie, a
5-year-old sired by Marshfield
Elevation Tony.
Grand champion Holstein of the
FFA show was exhibited by Keith
Kennedy of Marimsburg. Gill
brook Warden Surprise-Et was
sired by Hilltopper Elevation War
den. John and Karen Gilliland of
Warriors Mark bred this champion
Holstein.
John Foster, 111 of Petersburg
took the reserve grand champion
honor with Globe-Run E Tony
Pammy. Pammy was sired by
Marshfield Elevation Tony. Stan
ley Wenscl, 111, of Petersburg was
the breeder.
Milking Shorthorn Champions
Melissa Reissingcr, Newport,
captured both junior champion and
reserve junior champion. In the
number one spot was Reisinger’s
junior yearling, Walnut Hollows
Debutante, sired by Three Springs
Promise. Breeder of the junior
champion was Wm. Rcisinger of
Newport. Reserve junior was Rei
singer’s intermediate yearling,
Walnut Hollows May Bell, sired
by Three Springs Promise.
Best animal owned and bred
was shown by Maggie Whiting of
Edinburg for her dry cow senior
2-year-old, Lady Julia K. Sired
was Wildwood D’s Red King 2D.
Julia K was also named grand
champion of the show. Mark
Goshom of Blairs Mills took the
reserve grand championship with
his dry cow senior 2-ycar-old,
