The highest-selling animal, was Ben Goshow’s grand champion market hog, Chops. The 240-pound ani mal brought $2.50 from Hatfield Packing, which also bought the reserve grand champion market hog from Mike Souder for $2.10 per pound. Brian Warburton’s grand champion market lamb, Brutus, which brought $2.30 from Warren Tractor Equipment. The next highest-selling lamb was not the reserve grand champion, but Aar- right, gL ipi market lamb at the Sullivan County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale. The 11-pound reserve grand champion market lamb, owned by Jim Spinella, sold to Scott Sample Hauling for $l.lO per pound. Izzy Goodenough 11, Melissa Wilkins grand champion market steer, was purchased for $1.75 per pound or a total of $2278.50. Dewart Livestock bought Kim King’s 1,105-pound reserve grand champion steer for $.85 per pound. A partial listing of the show’s winners follows.
