RED LION (York) —The 1988 South Central District FFA Dairy Show was held at the Shippens burg Fairgrounds on August 5, 1988. The type judge for the show was Chester Raught of R R 1, Elvcrson, Pa. The fitting and showmanship judge was Steve Comman from R D, Carlisle, PA. Eighty animals were exhibited from Adams, Cumberland, Frank lin, Perry, and York counties. The Junior Champion and Grand Champion of the Brown Swiss breed was Pine Gill Jubila tion Honey, an intermediate year ling shown by Jennifer Gloss of the Chambcrsburg FFA, Franklin County. In the Guernsey breed. Grand Champion and Senior Champion honors went to four year old Lilac Springs Jamaica Reba owned by Paul Rauhauser of the Dover FFA, York County. The Junior Champ ion and Reserve Grand Champion, junior calf Lilac Springs Mel Romona, and the Reserve Junior Champion, Lilac Springs Mel Arlene, a summer yearling were also shown by Paul Rauhauser.
