Royal produced 10,600 pounds of milk and 530 pounds of fat In 305 days. Denise’s brother, Doug, holds his reserve grand champion, S.V. Romeo Carol. The 4-year-old, Heaths Romeo C daughter was also named second best uddered cow of the show. Carol is projected to make 10,630 pounds of milk. This was her first show ring experience. Exhibits may be entered on Monday, September 12 from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. This year the Claysburg Farm Show will participate in a state wide apple pie contest. The overall apple pie winner will be eligible to compete in the state farm show in Harrisburg in January. Pies will be judged for crust, filling, overall appearance and sensory qualities, as well as creativity. The outstand ing pic will receive a blue ribbon and money on the local level.
